Trout Half and Two Sided MountsOur Trout fish mounts are anatomically correct half fish replicas that are intended to be displayed on the wall. A half sided mount is made by casting the front part of a two sided full mount mold. When up on the wall the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts times and material costs and therefore results in a lower selling price even though the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional mount. A full mount, which we also call a two sided wall mount, is extremely realistic including custom painted eyes and skin texture that was captured during the molding process.Everything that can be seen when up on all the wall is finished.Trout Fish Mount PaintingWe paint all our replicas to look alive and lit up like they are swimming in the water. Installing Your Trout MountAll our half mounts are complete with a resin hanger attached to the backside that runs parallel to the ground. Our full mount replicas arrive to you with an easy to hang bracket on the backside of the replica. Hold the fish mount up on the wall or mark the spot where the bracket touches the wall for a full mount, drill in a couple screws or hammer in a couple nails where you would like it to be and then hang your new Trout fish mount.
